Starts with one liner, "only hype" After looking at the rating, thought of trying. Wait time on Friday's is avg, had to wait 10mins for getting table for 2. Ordered Fajitas and burritos. Fajitas did not have any sizzling and smoke, its like the food kept on hot plate for namesake. While having food, I have seen the ordered food serving plate kept over the container, which used keep plates and trash from tables during clean. Have the pictures, too. I mean how disgusting to keep food to be served on top of a box which is with dirty plates and cutlery from tables where customers are done. How things are there in the kitchen, God knows if that's how they do outside. Food is below avg, nothing special as compared to what it's crowded for.

Shrimp, Steak and Fish tacos are amazing! Glad we stopped by and definitely enjoyed the meal here. 🌮 the wings and margaritas are just okay. (Just a reminder, the 20% tip is mandatory here)

Stopped in for some margaritas, ended up trying some dips. Everything was okay, but I got a little sick from the frozen margs. They were extremely sugar and lacked proper margarita strength. Flavor was all there, though, but it just seemed like a lot of extra calories. Chili cheese dip was kind of just cheese and no chili. There were green chilies, though, so that is probably what the intention was. Service was okay, but it definitely could have been better. The server just added in tip for himself, which is illegal, so I didn't like that. Overall, I would give East LA a 2.8 out of 5.

I tried the chicken chimichanga platter. It came with rice, beans, and guacamole. The food tasted good. The chips and salsa dip was fine. The margaritas was wonderful. Our waiter did a wonderful job taking care of us. I definitely would recommend this place to friends and family.

The shrimp tacos were good but the chicken ones were really bad. Margarita was the worst served in a pathetic glass. Service was below par and 20% gratuity was included in the check and we were just a party of 3. All in all a bad experience . Never coming back !!! Charittos will always be the place going forward.

Sat outside on the benches with my family and brought our son along in his stroller. The Strawberry Coconut margarita is my favorite drink to order here. Ordered the steak quesadilla to share and it was delicious. Chips and salsa kept on coming! Thank you to our server Leo for being so quick and prompt. Will come here again

Great service! Jorge is excellent! Came in and the food was great and margaritas can come frozen or on the rocks and you can get up to 3 flavors! The drinks are GREAT! I got the Rose frozen margarita and a Mango and Pineapple Margarita on the rocks!
